Protect Wildlife in the Interior Appropriations Bill!
Brief Summary of the Humane World for Animals Action Alert:
The House Interior Appropriations bill for fiscal year 2026 threatens wildlife by removing critical Endangered Species Act protections for vulnerable species, such as gray wolves and grizzly bears.
The bill also includes provisions that would diminish decades of wildlife conservation efforts.
It’s crucial to have our voices heard in opposing efforts that could lead to irreversible damage to our delicate ecosystems and the species that inhabit them, by ensuring that these harmful provisions do not proceed any further in the appropriations process.
Suggested Next Action Steps:
Please call your U.S. Representative and politely urge them to vote NO on the Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act of 2026 and oppose all anti-wildlife riders included within it.
